How about some Events that would configure an informal Endurance Series
There are some real series in which we could get inspiration, WEC, ALMS, ELMS, Bacpain etc.
Using the time transition to achieve a configuration where in a single stint we would feel like running all the time extension of the race. Ex. 6 Hours of Silverstone, stint of +/- 90 minutes, time acceleration of 4x and fuel consumption and tire wear set to simulate the same amount of stops that a real driver makes during his stint (perhaps 2x each).

Cars:
GTE cars, with some criteria in order to get some leveled performance.

Tracks:
As said, we could get inspiration in the series that exist in the real world, but for example:
•Spa;
•Silverstone
•Monza;
•Laguna Seca;
•Fuji;
•Interlagos;
•Sebring;
•Estoril or Portimão;
•Dubai;
•Le mans (as special if we could get a lot of drivers, otherwise would be lame)
•Etc…

Drivers:
I love endurance races on the PC because I have few time to race, and when I start I don't want to make just a sprint race and pack the gear up... Don't know if there are many others like me, if needed we could make some publicity in forums that still race in GTR2 or used to race, that could help to get more drivers.

Schedule:
We could make some kind of voting in order to get the most drivers, I don't know… but for example, I think the race should start at 21h GMT. But who knows the server/forum user rates can tell what is the best hour and day to race.
I think one event every two or three weeks would be nice.
