The start procedure is very tricky as there is no start lights and the track is sloping.

To avoid a stop&go penalty and start at the right time :

- Keep your eyes on your timer for laptime

- Stay in neutral (important for not the car to move forward with the slopy track or you will get a stop&go penalty) or keep one foot on the brake

- When your timer for laptime start, pass the first gear and let's go.

My Game crashed just after i did my 1st pitstop So crual, so unfair...

I don't know why we restarted the race, maybe it was legitimate...but maybe also it had this consequence for me.

Last year i made a DNF after 3 laps on this track so don't know if there is issue with this track in pitstop.

Very disappointed

I had no issues at first start of the race, but I think it was the right call to restart because half of the grid had problems or was already DNF.
Better for the Fun factor.
Didn`t expected myself to finish the race. Absolutely focused on not crashing and got an unexpected win
Anyway it was unfortunate for some of us, but there is always a next race

Very interesting to know that you & fin had issue with the pitstop on this track last year.

So it is clear there is issues with the pitstop with this track...really a pity

Since 3 years I made a list of tracks on which i had issue with the pitstop (game crash).
For now i have Baku, Zandvoort2020 and Spa66.

Fortunately it happened to me only 3 times on 3 different tracks in 3 years for more than 300 races.

Strangely Zandvoort2020 i had issue with pitstop in 2024 but all was fine in 2025.

If anybody have ideas to fix this pitstop issue (play with track in low resolution texture, play without the XD map plugin...? )...for now this issue is a mistery for me.

It also happened to me in Montreal a few weeks ago. After I pressed pit request button the game crashed. Sometimes it happens right after the pitstop.
It feels like a random game bug, didn`t find a pattern so far.

I will add 'Montreal' to my 'track with pitstop issue' list.

Strangely i never had the game crashing after pressed the pit request button.
For now it only happened to me just after i did my pitstop.

Maybe if people regularly give their feebdack when they have a pitstop issue maybe one day we will have a better understanding about this issue and find solutions to prevent this.
