I publicly make my apologizes to AL Markus.

I cut the fast chicane (not intentionally but i cut it) in the last lap with AL Markus 1 second behind me.

I get a warning for this but mainly this is not fairplay.

I am not use to cheat but that was cheating to do this and i am ashame about it so i don't really deserve the 4th position but the 5th.

Except this that was a fun race !

Da so viele Probleme mit Spielabsturz/Runtime Error hatten, tendiere ich dazu das Rennen als Probelauf zu betrachten und nicht mit in die Meisterschaftswertung zu nehmen.

Für Shanghai kommt der Porsche GT3-RS mit in die Fahrzeugauswahl, darf aber erst genommen, sollten die Probleme wieder auftauchen.
Heißt: Falls es mehr als 18 Fahrer sind, wechseln ein paar Leute zum RS, damit alle joinen können.




Because so many people had problems with game crashes/runtime errors, I am inclined to consider the race a trial run and not include it in the championship standings.

For Shanghai, the Porsche GT3-RS will be added to the vehicle selection, but will only be used if the problems reoccur.
This means that if there are more than 18 drivers, a few people will switch to RS so that everyone can join.

...die frage ist, liegt es an der Strecke oder am Polieden....oder an der Anzahl der Teilnehmer

ich würde auch im nächsten rennen sehr gern den 991 fahren. der vorschlag von fin erscheint mir sinnvoll.

i would like to drive the 991 in the upcoming event at shanghai gp. the suggestion of fin to add the 911 RS makes sense.

Vielleicht alle die Probleme hatten, nochmal den 4-GB-Patch installieren..
..und bestenfalls läuft in Shanghai alles reibungslos und alle fahren den 991.

Ich finde, auch das sich der 991 sehr schön fahren lässt und er Spaß macht. Wenn es sich also irgendwie herausfinden lässt, warum manche nicht mitfahren konnten, wäre das schon schön.
Aber der Porsche Cup ist ja auch deshalb so gut besucht, weil alle das gleiche Auto fahren. Deswegen tendieren ich auch dazu, dass alle den GT3 RS fahren. Treten dann die gleichen Probleme auf, findet man vielleicht eher heraus, warum es nicht funktioniert.

O.K. Fin hatte schon geantwortet, während ich selber noch schrieb.
Also ich habe den 4 GB Patch drauf und habe ihn auch gestern nochmal aktiviert. Ohne Erfolg.

For my part i had big difficulties to join the server.

I had multiple times the message "Banned for cheat possible".

I think i needed around 15 attempts to join the server.

Maybe it was due to the big amounts of participants.

Then when i was driving on this track i had no problems of lag or anything.

I am using a software to use all my CPU Cores for GTR2 (i think it can help from some issues) and i also made change to the antialiasing/anisotropic settings with software "Nvidia Profile Inspector" which fixed for me issues with lag.

I am not really sure these advises would have helped for the issues there were in Melbourne but it costs nothing to advise them.

I don't really know if all the issues on this race was due to the mod, the track, the amount of participants or a little bit of everything.

Simple & Good idea from Fin to advise to reinstall the 4GB Patch.

I noticed Nilski98 had a "crashed game" just some seconds after asking for a "pit request" so it sounds a Pitstop issue for him, maybe it is a track problem as i had same kind of problem with pitstop in Baku & Zandvoort only.

It can be a hint...i don't know

For the "Banned for cheat possible" message maybe it would be good mainly for the new players on GTR2 to inform that it is necessary to insist sometimes lots times to join the server.

Bitte den GT3-RS nur nehmen, wenn es mit dem 911 Cup Probleme gibt (wie Runtime-Error oder Spielabsturz)!

Please only use the GT3-RS if there are problems with the 911 Cup (such as runtime errors or the game crashing)!

Der Cup Porsche geht bei mir ne halbe Runde, dann crasht das komplette Game
Und der RS ist ne Möhre, da verzichte ich lieber. Allen viel Spaß.

Exe.fehler nach dem ich Boxenstop gedrückt habe, glaube ich.

Mir persönlich wäre der RS als Cup Auto lieber.
