I'm new to this group. Downloaded the MACAU TW and the Hungaroring, but I can't find the server online. And how do I register for this race?

BTW, sorry to do this in English. I speak German well enough, but writing is a problem

Auf rennen server kan ich meine setup nicht andern. So kan mann kein rennen fahren

Oh yeah, that was fun.... NOT!

Serieusly guys. I have the official version of the game, installed all that was needed to get on the practise server. Then wthen the race server starts and I can't load my setup or even change it!


Been looking forward to finaly do a race in GTR², but no. You need to install the "Europatch", you need to install "no cd patch" and all 5 minutes before quali starts.
BTW, both patches give an error.

sorry for late reply ... ;-(

Pls. try:

- Install GTR2 from steam
- copy gtr2 directory to another directory
- install european patch to new directory
- instal no-cd patch to new directory
- apply autoupdater to new directory

that's it.

Pls. check on one of our gameservers if setup is working fine...

durchhalten und weiter probieren, heute war irgendwie ein mächtiger Bug drin.
Bei mir hat nach dem Boxenstop die KI übernommen und die Tante hat dann auch noch gewonnen (peinlich). Ich glaube das ist auch noch nie jemanden passiert.

da fällt mir ein: ich habe beim bestätigen der Boxeneinstellung ausversehen die Pfeil Links Taste gedrückt statt Enter, vielleicht lag es daran, das die KI übernommen hat??????

Na ja, dann muss ich es morgen mahl versuchen. Dies wahr wirklich shade weil ich fahre sehr gerne tourenwagen und hatte lust im rennen.

I did as you suggested, but now its asking for a serialnumber.
Sorry, but this is no longer fun. Been at it for over 3 hours and still it won't work.

BTW, why would i need to use an illegal "no cd patch" when the core game works just fine through STEAM.

It can't be that hard to do a race in GTR2. Just did one with a BTCC mod on another server and it was very easy to get online.
