to all experienced racers, based on your experience, what is the best compromise, steering degrees and steering look for gtr2?

I probably don't qualify as an "expert" as I primarily race offline, but here's my strategy.

* Set rotation degrees to match car class. I use 270 for F1, 540 or 720 for GT cars, 900-1080 for Road cars

* Adjust steering lock per track so that you can make tightest corner of a track without letting go of the steering wheel.

Note that this is not realistic because I doubt you can adjust steering lock on all cars in real life. HTH!

Hello,

I take a rather critical view of GTR2 or GTL with 900°. I so often see drivers completely over-steering their car and wearing out the tires. Personally, after many years of driving 270° wheel and 11° ingame, I now drive 320° with 13° steering angle ingame. Maybe this table will help you, unfortunately only in German.

But in the end it's all a matter of personal taste and you just have to try it out

Glück auf!

Hi,

it´s only a question of ratio equation.
For example the Maserati MC12 has a steering lock of 23° (like 90%+ of NGT/GT cars) with 640° at the steering wheel, based on reality.

23° x 2 = 46 (lock left to lock right)

640°/46° = 13,913

for example:

your wheel is limitated to 270°.

270°/13,913 = 19,406° steering lock is proportionate to the first example.

cheers
