wie Grandpa schon geschrieben hat geht es über ein Python2script einzustellen.
Hab dich ja letztens mal auf der ABB gesehen, heißt du hast auch schon eine Python-Version auf deinem Rechner installiert.
Braucht nämlich der Autoupdater dort...

Du müsstest jetzt mal schauen wo du Python installiert hast.

Dann lädst du dir die Datei von Grandpa runter, entpackst sie und kopierst die "cpu.py" in dein GTR2 Verzeichnis.

Jetzt machst du einen Rechtklick auf die GTR2.exe und erstellst eine Verknüpfung.
Wieder Rechtsklick auf die Verknüpfung, Eigenschaften anklicken.
Dort siehst du unter "Ziel" deinen Pfad zu GTR2.
Den musst du jetzt editieren.

Dazu nimmst du Grandpa's oder meine Vorlage und änderst die Pfade in deine um.

Sieht bei mir so aus...
"C:\Program Files\Python 2.7.9\pythonw.exe" "G:\Games\GTR2 - Kölschbierbude\cpu.py" --cpuid=0,1,2,3 "G:\Games\GTR2 - Kölschbierbude\GTR2.exe"

bei Grandpa so:
"C:\Python27\pythonw.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\SimBin\GTR 2\cpu.py" --cpuid=0,1,2,3 "C:\Program Files (x86)\SimBin\GTR 2\GTR2.exe"


Wichtig bei der Pfadangabe ist halt, dass alle 3 Dateien gefunden werden

1.pythonw.exe
2.cpu.py
3.GTR2.exe

Zum Spiel starten nimmst du jetzt immer die erstellte Verknüpfung.
Der kannst du unter Eigenschaften auch noch das GTR2 Symbol zuweisen, damits schicker aussieht.

Yeah, i tested it yesterday. you'll never stop learning

In my case, its not really a fps-gain, if i use more than one core. except core 0 The difference is roundabout 10-15fps for me. BUT: it is a noticable gain

@Speedeel: Die Lösung, die Fin nannte, ist am Ende die eleganteste für jeden, der Ptyhon eh für die anderen Autoupdater installiert hat. Im Prinzip macht sie dasselbe, was ich dir schon geschrieben habe. Wenn du das nicht hinkriegst, ist es nicht schlimm. nutz meinen Weg, nutze eine Software dafür, oder nutze ein Skript für Python. Alles macht am ende das selbe.

Viele Wege führen schließlich nach Rom

First thank you very very much, this helped me and my old machine a lot!

I tried Fin´s option, but unfortunately it didn´t work.

BUT!

I tried to set manualy both cores in task manager and for some magic reason it works well, GTR2 now uses both cores and frame rate is almost double! Specially in night races it helped me a lot.

So have you any ideas how to set this by default, so I don´t need to set it manualy everytime I start GTR2?
