I could not hide my emotion at the end of the race.

My 1st victory in a Saturday or Monday evening race !!! and on a legendary circuit the "Nordschleife".
With the participation of the greatest drivers and car preparers on GTR 2 and GT Légend.

To get back to the race:

3rd on the starting line (average qualification) .
(Worse for FIN; one less champion )

I knew I had to be in the lead right away, so the start was a bit violent, I apologize for ODB and Steini.

I knew I had a very good car in the "race" configuration, with a full tank of fuel.

I had to take a little lead on the first 4 laps, because I wanted to change my 4 tires at the pit, I knew that some would keep the rear tires, and come out in front of me.

Only JB came out in front of me, 5 seconds ahead! He had kept his rear tires, I immediately caught up with him, and overtook him, with my 4 new tires (slick for the whole race).

All I had to do was make no mistakes, which I did

Grats jackpot! This is a great win in Nordschleife!

For me was a really hell... Finally I flied out in carousel in lap 9... 12 laps in this circuit was too much for me...

Up's & downs. This is how to descripe my race.

Start was a complete desaster. But i came good to my pace.

After some mistakes by drivers ahead i could improve some positions.

In time i closed up to Steini & odb.

Took the pressure high to odb and in case they make a mistake it would be my chance. I was able to pass both of em but I was unsure bout the fuel consumption. So I get to the pits after 3 laps. Not the best choice.

After the stop i became a victim of the gravel in Aremberg corner. Cost bout 2 minutes to get out of that misery. Now there was only one mission left: get it to the finish.

Position 8 after many stupid mistakes was more than I ever expected.

Schon gedacht mein Disconnect-Problem wäre endlich gelöst, aber nix da.

Aber gut zu wissen, dass die Nordschleife lang genug ist um nach 2 Sektoren rauszufliegen anstatt nach 3 wie bei "normalen" Strecken.

Glückwunsch an jackpot, war mir gar nicht bewusst, dass das ein so großer Erfolg für dich ist!

Aus meiner Sicht ... war mein zweites Rennen auf der Bude, und nachdem es letzte Woche (DTM) nur ein paar Kurven weit ging, bin ich dieses Mal ins Ziel gekommen - auch wenn ich das Feld nach hinten hin abgerundet hab Speed war gar nicht so schlecht, und wenn ich mich nicht für eine (jaaa, Riesenidee Flo ) grandiose 2-Stopp-Strategie entschieden und dann nicht noch beide Stopps total verkackt hätte, wären vielleicht sogar die Top-10 drin gewesen. Anyway, hatte meinen Spaß, vor allem in den ersten Runden!

Glückwunsch nochmal, fürs 2. Rennen auf dieser schweren Strecke, Daumen hoch. Hab mir deine Zeiten angeschaut, sehr stabil, super. Und im ersten Rennen konntest du nich viel machen.

Habe gehofft Jackpot und ich könnten zusammen die 12 Runden bestreiten, leider habe ich zuviel Pannen eingebaut.

Hab mich für m/w entschieden, w/w wär vielleicht besser gewesen. Wer weiss

Hatte gleich 2. Runde Einfahrt Hatzenbach nen Dreher und die Karre verbogen


Dann gabs nochmal nen Klassentreffen mit Fin und im Karussell fand ich mich zum Picknick hinter der Leitplanke wieder.

Man man man, Pleiten Pech und Pannen.
So kann man nicht mit Jack mitfahren.

Musste mich so mehrmals wieder vorkämpfen, was aber richtig Spaß gemacht hat, denn dadurch gab es einige schöne Zweikämpfe.

Am Ende P2 bin sehr zufrieden damit,nachdem ich ein paar Momente hatte wo ich schon dachte das wars.

rennen war super. konnte fast immer gegenhalten und am ende p3 . und fin des war ne ganz klare sache an der ziellinie

I am very, very happy to once again achieve the feat of finishing 1st at the Nordschleifs !!! and in front of great drivers.

Breathtaking and incredible the qualifying time of Mr Steini !!!
But during practice I realized that in race configuration, Mr Steini was slower than me, by a second or two. All was not lost so I said to myself "and why not".

MY RACE:

In the first lap we were wheel in wheel, I knew that we needed a lead of one second to avoid the suction in the straights what happened in the long straight, Mr. Steini took over the first place, but I knew I would do the same in the pit straight So at the start of the 2nd lap I got back in the lead, and I saw Mr. Steini attacking behind, (too much maybe), and he lost control in a turn. Mr. Fin was 4 seconds away! Phew, I was much more relaxed
I left with (78 liters), (6 laps), (inter slick tires at the front, and slick tires at the rear)
Given my lead, at the Pits, I changed everything. At the back they were still good, but I didn't want to take any risks.
On the 12th lap, several small mistakes, without gravity, I was distracted by the messages of encouragement from different pilots, whom I thank, of course !!!
And especially my friend **** JB **** !!!!!!
