              Hi guys,

I just got a different wheel...a two hour old driving force gt ,to replace my driving force pro ....and when I logged into gtr 2 and drove the ffb is not the same.

I'm going to fix that then send you the file.

Every Wheel needs his personal FFB setting, every driver too. thats the reason why FFB settings from other drivers fits barely to yourself.

Another point is the steering lock(ingame+wheel). for me it feels like that streeing lock and FFB got a connection but thats a longer story. if you interested and im in the mood these days i will share my "experience"

              Hi,

This is a text file of the ffb part of my plr file.
to use go to your plr file in gtr 2 and open in notepad.
select all text from FFB etc etc, down to end and delete. then copy my data and insert into your plr at the bottom and save.
make a copy of your plr file first if you wish.

its not quite what i felt on my old wheel, but its good.imho.

im not sure but i seem to remember that altering ffb values in extended setup would rewrite values you may have made in plr.

              sorry it took so long...

              Lug

              Hi,

              almost forgot.

              What wheel are u using?

Strong motor? 2 motor? Gears,Belt or DD?

Ive read that default steering degree for gtr2 is 240..so thats what i put into my wheels software.
Henrey is correct that rotation degrees have a big influence on FFb quality.
Also, in GTR2 FFB update frequencey is directly tied to frame rate. So dont use verticle sync and try to get a highish frame rate.

there is a bunch of info on this at Racedepartment.com

              Hi LugNut,
              I have a G29 for 1 or 2 months + or -.
              Powerful engine? I dunno .
2 motors? I suppose so, because exactly the same block as a G27 and for having dismantled several G27s there are indeed 2 engines in it.
              Gears,? yes no belts
For me with the G29 it's 180 °, above I suck. And on the game, I set the Lock steering wheel to 12 or 13. And depending on the car, I adapt it. (before with G27 I was at 200 ° and 17/18 on the game)
For the rest, thank you, I already know a little about it now. Thanks to Racedepartment.

Thanks for the information, LugNut , and I hope to see you soon.
