fährt zufällig jemand mit dieser Wheel Base GTL oder GTR2? In Verbindung mit FanaLab? Unser Mikkola möchte sein Comeback mit neuem Hardware geben und sucht Hilfe bei den Einstellungen.

I am using DD1 with GTR2 no problem. One thing that amazes me is that even dual clutch works fine! I do not use Fanalab and I do not race online, so my experience is from offline only.

Some rim buttons or shifters may be not recognized by the game, workaround is very simple: use Joy2Key to map those to keyboard.

Some people experience USB device limitations in GTR2 (I am not affected). Here's the tool that is supposed to help: https://github.com/briankendall/devreorder

unter download/ffb hilfe findest du die einstellungen von nobody für die dd1, sollte keinen unterschied machen.
kannst auch meine einstellung für die csw 2.5 nehmen. nobody hat die die auch schon mit der dd1 getestet, spielt keine rolle.
hab auch schon die dd1 einstellungen von nobody auf der 2.5 getestet, geht auch.
allerdings finde ich meine einstellungen deutlich besser.
ich fahre jetzt mit der csl dd mit dem
formula V2 mit magnetwippen und fahre mit der einstellung der 2.5.
allerdings im kompatibilitäts-modus mit fanaleds!!!
und ja, alle knöpfe - schalter und drehregler wird man bei gtr2 nicht belegen können, auch nicht mit fanalab.

Ah, one thing about Fanatec. I used to have CSW 2.5 and now DD1, and there's a minor bug in Fanatec driver.

If you have race weekend with all practices and qualifications and warmups, at some point you will lose _some_ FFB effects. I fixed this problem in Crew Chief GTR2 Enhancements Plugin. Do not get me wrong though, it is a very minor problem, just saying for the record (and very easy to workaround if you do not use the plugin, just save the session and reload). All in all GTR2 works just fine with DD/CSW.

As far as I know, this is Fanatec specific issue, it does not happen with Logitech.

do you like to tell us in detail how do you fix the problem with the losing ffb.
in the moment i put the ffb effects in game on low
to fix it.
when the ffb effect in game is on high i have this problem with losing ffb.
"save the session and reload" is no solution for online racing.
but i´m open for new idias.

I am not 100% sure we're talking about the same issue, but on my PC Fanatec driver bug causes loss of some FFB effects. I am running level 3.

In this plugin I fix various bugs and add things that never existed in GTR2, like: wipers, flat spots, dirt pickup, gearbox improvements, FFB improvements, DRS rules, new Motec dash elements etc.

There are 2 caveats:
* Plugin only works with Steam GTR2.exe.
* I am using GTR2 in offline only, so this plugin is not tested in online use (and will not be).

The Fanatec driver bug workaround can be enabled via:

ffbDisableResetOnSessionTransition = 1

Hello,

Just in case you did not know:

* you can have as many copies of GTR2 as you want (I personally have separate copy per mod)
* what you could do, you could create a copy of your GTR2 and then get HQ Anniversary patch from RD. It includes Steam binaries, so you could try this stuff if you want to. The only difference between Steam and DVD is .exe and .dll files (they are newer! And that is why plugin only works with them). Then, if it all works and is useful to you, you could buy Steam version, so that everything is honest

Plugin manual has steps describing how to apply HQ patch.

But yeah, if FFB fix is the only thing you need, not worth the trouble. But hopefully others will find those fixes useful (remember that annoying GTR2 texture flicker? Plugin fixes that, for example Or, backfires on all cars! ).
