You know, we who have been here for a long time and still ride GTR2 to our hearts' content. We are aware that GTR2 is old and no longer has the most powerful engine, but I still think, and I'm not alone, that it is one of the best sims in sim racing, if not the best.
Apart from those little bugs that it sometimes has. We know about the game crashes, suspected cheats, occupied pit positions and so on. However, we have come to terms with this, as these errors are rather manageable and it does not detract from the fun we have here in the GTR2 community.
When I read your problems and it is obvious that they are the known bugs that happen! Then you don't want to hear about trying again or waiting until the server is restarted. We all had the same problems at the last race and after the restart it was ok for everyone. I for example had to re-enter 8-10 times because of suspected cheating, and? What the heck, sometimes you just need patience.

Patience is worth it in this case because you will have great races with great opponents and one of the best vehicle and track selections. So it's up to you, but we don't need anyone who thinks they always have to talk everything down.

You yourself said you had great races here and that's what it's all about, but if you think ACC is better - sure, everyone has his own way.

yes, I don't have everything installed with Auto-Updater. because I consider it unnecessary that so many unnecessary mods take up space on my ssd.
admins should say in the announcement which mods they use on the server. because there is no reason for everyone to have everything installed. who wants ok, but there should be a choice to be able to manually install what should be for racing.

GTR2 was in my heart until 10 years ago for the last time. continued with rf, rf2, AC, ACC. but here I am back to my old love. and I have patience, but when something is illogical and you can't figure out what's bothering you, you have to give up temporarily because otherwise you lose your mind.

ACC is currently the best sim. but of course, I miss other tracks and cars, class. especially older ones. that's why I went back to GTR2. knowing that the graphics are not perfect. ffb is good if you adjust it well for your steering wheel. it's the same story for ACC around ffb.
the main point is that I drive older cars. that's why I also installed P&G. would also like to drive something there.
I also have GTLegends, but I haven't installed that yet.
